About Rockie Nolan

Rockie is a 20 year-old photographer originally from Lubbock, Texas, now studying at
The Savannah College of Art and Design concentrating in fashion photography. Rockie’s main concentration is in fashion photography but she also enjoy printmaking and various artistic mediums. The other things that interest her are style blogging, thrifting, science fiction, collecting vintage cameras and recently she started creating short films. 

About “Have Heart”:
This piece was originally a photograph that Rockie set up and created. She then separated the CMYK layers and printed it as a lithograph. The concept for the image was contrasting delicate flowers to hard bones. In another edition, there is similar lithograph she has made of a skull and flowers. The two pieces together represent the conflict of head vs. heart.
