Q: What kind of art is eligible?

A: You can submit any type of static visual art. Please upload a high resolution .JPG, .GIF or .PNG image file under 5MB. If you have a vector or .PSD file you can flatten and save it as one of the formats above. If you art piece is selected as one of the finalists, we will contact you to get a high resolution, print-ready version of your artwork.

Q: How is the art going to be presented on the T-shirts?

A: The way the artwork is going to be displayed on the T-shirt is going to be determined depending on the art work. This decision will be made by H&M.

Q: How is the winner selected?

A: The visitors of this website choose the top twenty five (25) submissions based on the number of votes received. The final decision will be made by a panel of judges from H&M and fashion and art world personalities. Read about the jury here

Q: Are you allowed to collaborate on a piece of art?

A: Yes you can but only one of you will be able to submit the artwork to the contest. If your art piece is selected as one of the winners, you will have to share the prize with your collaborators. The prize will only be awarded to one person.

A: In select H&M stores all over the United States

Q: How long will the 5 winning artworks be displayed in the store window?

A: There is no set end date. We want to inspire the world with your art for as long as they like it.

Q: What are the file size limitations for uploading submissions?

A: Please limit the pictures you upload to 5 MB.

Q: Can I enter more then one picture of my artwork?

A: No, you can only enter one picture of your artwork. However, you can combine picture in picture before uploading.
